About Us
The Fine Art of Travel provides customized packages crafted by a professional veteran Travel Concierge and Master Cruise Counselor, with over 35 certifications, selling travel since 1975.
We are affiliated with a large full-service travel agency in Florida. We are preferred suppliers getting the best rate or price-match with sweet amenities on your next cruise, vacation, all-inclusive travel, or a quick weekend trip... there are endless possibilities.
The Fine Art of Travel is dedicated to meeting the needs of each of my travel clients.
What makes me different?
- I am available to work within the confines of your schedule. Although I have set hours of work, and I travel to experience the properties you want to book, I can work around this to accommodate you!

- Documents come in a packable bag and may include maps, destination information, a document pouch,or travel amenities or souvenirs and one of my original Watercolor Malorographies of your destination…. and in most cases, are hand delivered!

About Me!
The Fine Art of Travel is affiliated with a full service travel agency in Florida. From rail tickets, cars and hotels, cruises (both large ships and smaller river boats), as well as popular all-inclusive vacations and independent overseas travel, The Fine Art of Travel can put your total vacation package together!
Kathy Dawson was raised in Colorado. After college, she became an educator with Jeffco Schools for 20 years. She has been in the travel industry since 1994, having worked with United Airlines reservations, as well as having been an owner of her own agency. Having her Master Cruise Counselor certification, she has sailed 34 times! It was her various opportunities of having lived in Germany that ignited her passion for travel. She has toured Europe, Iceland, Mexico, South Pacific and the Caribbean many times as a group escort on tours and cruises as The Fine Art of Travel.
It is difficult to narrow down her specialty because of her passion for meeting those from other countries. Her mission to eradicate the view of ‘the ugly American’ has helped her clients know how to fit in while traveling, with tips on language, packing, mores, and safety, making her an Ambassador and Concierge of sorts. She signs and speaks Spanish, German, and a little ‘kathinese!’ Kathy’s compensation typically comes from suppliers, who, as a rule, are willing to price-match whatever clients find online. That’s a win-win for us both!

Kathy has been honored several times in local papers for her personal and customized service and recently won the Best of 2018 Travel Agency for Littleton Colorado!
